Windows Services that you can Safely Turn Off


Services are programs that run on startup with Windows operating system ( Windows XP and Windows 7 services in this article ) and continue to work so that allow the operating system specific functionality. There are many services which are started on start up and consume system memory and time of processor, which is resource consuming. Below you will find what service serve for ,as well as which can be turned off, that will accelerate the performance of Windows.

Note: We are NOT responsible to any problem arising from negligence. Just explain meaning of the certain service, and give advice, NOT force you to Turn of certain Service.

To get to the services console go here: Start ( or Windows ) button > Run > Services.msc > OK , or go to Control Panel > Administrative tools > Services, and click on it.

To turn off or edit a service will come: Right-click on Properties , select Disable, and the service will not start at the next Start of the Computer.

    • Alerter-Notify users emailing the administrative alerts. Useful in cases when the computer is on a network. if your computer is not on the network then freely switch off.
