Tip 3 –  Remove  unnecessary  software  and  applications  (Work in Windows XP, Vista and  Windows 7)

Most of the computers manufacturers delivers their computers full with all kind of free or test software and applications, which unnecessary take disk space  and slow down the operating system. They are different versions of testing antivirus applications, games that are not interesting and vendors applications that nobody know how they are work.

To free yourself of all that heavy weight start with this menu: Start – Control Panel – Uninstall a program. Review the list and start to clean ( Remove all the programs that are not useful ).   You can also use like alternative some of the specialized software for deep uninstalling of unnecessary software, and thorough clean of program files directory.

That kind of software is Revo Uninstaller  with which you can not only remove all unwanted applications, but you can clean broken registry entries, and other application traces that are left behind after uninstalling.

No matter which method you will use for removing software, take care not to remove something that are need for everyday functioning of the system, like Adobe Flash Player or Microsoft .Net Framework or something like that.

Tip 4 – Turn on Performance monitor

If you like tables, charts and different forms of data, Windows 7 have right tool for it. Performance monitor follow in real time functioning of your computer ( hardware and software ). This applications generate many different data, which can be analize and compare. This tool is first of all intended for administrators , but end users can have benefit of that.

To start the tool push windows button,  type perfmon.msc and press Enter, expand Monitoring Tools  and click Performance Monitor. Create new set of data , etc counters, and select location where to collect and save logs.

Tip 5 - Change your Web browser

Web browser is probably most used application on every computer. Choosing faster web browser can significantly ? provide speed to your working on internet. On latest comparation test best results , when speed are in question, achieve Google Chrome.

Differences are in seconds, but sometimes that second are very important. Maybe other prefer Mozilla Firefox, but I must mention that some of the intranet web applications that are develop with ASP.Net ( or Microsoft Silverlight) are fully functional when working on Internet Explorer. Also in latest version of operating system like Windows 7 , and finally in Windows 8 , Internet Explorer are much improved , when speed ,stability and securing are in question. Everything depends on what you want and what you expect when you web browsing, and how you want to configure internet options on your web browser.
