It this article I will continue from Previous post with the tips that are useful trough every day working with Windows, here they are:

Tip 8 – Make System Repair Disk

Before you make any significant change of the system, it is smart move to make rescue plan in case things going wrong. That means you should make CD or DVD for system repair ( other useful method is to do system restore point, but that is another story ), which provide first aid in case system to go down and won’t start. Lucky, in Windows 7 this action is more like trivial thing. Click on Start Button, in search field type repair and Choose System Repair Disc. Follow the instructions and record it on CD or DVD. Don’t forget to write on it that it is System Repair Disk, and on which date it is made. If you make some hardware upgrade to the system or change some applications don’t forget to make new version of the System Repair Disc.

Tip 9 -  UAC ( User Account Control ) Control like it should be

User Account Control is the same boring thing that was in Vista, but this time in Windows 7 it work right. UAC has for purpose to protect your system from suddenly starting of suspicious and dangerous applications and of course malware, preventing them to make changes in the  system state. Predefined configurations which comes in Windows 7 are less rigorous from they on Vista, and now reporting shows only when application trying to make change, and not the user. If you want to completely turn off reporting  in User Account Control choose ‘Never Notify’.

Tip 10 – Restart and Opening of Used Applications

Users of  Windows  XP, Vista and Windows 7 has one common feature. They must to restart system after every new update and upgrade. You like your operating system to be smart and careful like Firefox, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, and to activate all active applications which worked before restarting? In basic, OS still is not that smart, but it doesn’t mean that you can’t educate it :). You can use for that purpose free tool called Cache My Workand it opens all the applications that were opened and active before restarting. It is useful, especially in situations when automatic upgrade is happening and when system is restarting on certain time.
